Valentine's Date Night

Friday night, the hubs and I went out for a fancy dinner and splurged at one of our favorite steakhouses...we even had dessert after receiving some very exciting news about our future career opportunities!

I've been dying to wear these red, purple, and yellow paisley print palazzo pants {say those last four words three times fast 😳} that I scored for $4 {yes, you read that right} at Cato Fashions.

They paired perfectly with this sheer tunic hi-lo sweater & purple long chain necklace!!

Love the pops of purple with the red! Perfect for Valentine's Day celebrations.

We had a great night & I had the hostess take our pic to document it. Lots of wonderful memories being made...so excited for all the ones to come!

Life Lately

Life Lately has been #cray Here's a photo recap of the past week or so:

Cheering on the Cats in this comfo combo after two straight weeks of travel!

A few pics from San Antonio:

The Alamo

The Riverwalk...had the BEST brisket at County Line BBQ...it's a must!

Starting my first week of the 21 day fix...too bad that got quickly derailed by two highly infected and swollen tonsils...aka Strep...YUCK! I was down for the count after Wednesday.

Thankfully I had this little guy to keep me company at home. How adorable and sweet is he?! Using his toy has a pillow.

Found my old iphone the other day and went through the pics to see if there were any I wanted to keep. Umm...hello! That is the first time I tried my wedding dress on 3 years ago now!! I love it just as much now...if not more! Can I wear it every day?!

I also found these pics of my hair closer to its darker roots...it's making me want a change...a dark change! Eeeek!

Saturday, I started feeling a bit better after 48 hours of antibiotics...and after some great news and feeling like things are finally all coming together and falling into place...decided to treat myself to some retail therapy at my favorite place: Cato Fashions!

Here's a sneak peek of some of the outfits I tried on with a mix of full price and clearance rack pics.

These legging and tunic combos are so comfy cozy and perfect for feeling put together when you need to run errands or just lounge around.

This was my favorite outfit I tried on! I am in love! Gorgeous crochet knit flare pants with cutout suede top...perfection!

Next, it was on to get this beauty cleaned up...two years later and I love my 4Runner even more than the day I drove her off the lot!

The rest of the weekend was spent resting, watching the Super Bowl, easing back into working out after strep, and getting a little bit of work done.
